Fast forward to 2025, Bettina Liano is still making jeans in Melbourne Australia, under the name of By Bettina Liano - BYBL pronounced b.y.b.l or 'bible' for short, established in 2014.

In 2013 Bettina was forced to sell her renowned trademarks to her manufacturer Licensee. These were identified by her eponymous brand name and the iconic yellow flag which appeared on her denim jeans. In Australia, Bettina Liano jeans were a cornerstone of the 1990s and 2000's. Bettina was proclaimed by the Australian press as "the jean queen" and "the brand we all know and love".
